Yes. All of our gas engineers are Gas Safe registered, which is a legal requirement for anyone carrying out gas work in the UK. You can ask to see your engineer’s Gas Safe ID card at any point and we encourage you to do so.
When installing gas boilers, our preferred manufacturers include Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann and Glow-worm; however, we are flexible to install alternative brands if customers have a preference. HeatXpert installs industry-leading air conditioning manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi and Bosch.
No. HeatXpert focuses exclusively on domestic heating work for homeowners. We do not carry out commercial gas work.
New Boilers and Boiler Replacement
Common signs that your boiler may need replacing include frequent breakdowns, rising energy bills, unusual noises, slow heating and a system that is over 10 to 15 years old. If you are unsure, our team can assess your boiler and advise whether a repair or replacement is the better option for your situation.
In most cases, a straightforward boiler replacement can be completed in a single day. More complex work such as relocating a boiler or upgrading the heating system may take longer. We will always give you a clear timeframe before work begins.
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and model but typically range from five to ten years on boilers we fit. As approved installers for the brands we supply, we ensure every warranty is correctly registered and valid from the date of installation.
Boiler Servicing and Repairs
Your boiler should be serviced once a year by a qualified Gas Safe engineer. Annual servicing keeps your boiler running safely and efficiently, helps prevent breakdowns and is usually a condition of maintaining your manufacturer’s warranty.
Our engineers carry out a thorough inspection of your boiler, cleaning key components, checking gas pressure and flow, testing all safety devices and looking for any signs of wear or potential issues. We will always talk you through our findings at the end of the service.

Powerflushing
A powerflush is a deep clean of your central heating system that removes sludge, rust and scale from your radiators and pipework. Signs that your system may benefit from a powerflush include cold spots on radiators, a noisy boiler, slow heating or discoloured water when bleeding a radiator. We recommend a powerflush before any new boiler installation into an older system.
Most powerflushing jobs are completed within a single working day, depending on the size of the system and the extent of the contamination.
